Professional Makeup Artist

Matthew Aguanno is a Professional Makeup Artist and graduate of CMU College of Makeup Art & Design, where he earned a diploma from The Complete Makeup Artist Program. Through this intensive training, Matthew developed skills & expertise in fashion makeup, theatrical makeup, film and television makeup, prosthetic makeup, creature design, and hairstyling.

 

Since graduating, Matthew has built a diverse portfolio, including several years as a Makeup Artist for Canada's Wonderland's production of Halloween Haunt, working under IATSE Local 822 as a Permit. He has also contributed his talents to various film productions, continuing to expand his experience and creative reach in the industry.

Synopsis: Tinkers Toy Factory is a heartwarming musical about friendship, family, and the holiday spirit within Santa's toy factory—complete with daring acrobatic feats and more holiday surprises.

Job Duties & Tasks:

  • Worked under IATSE 822 as a Permit Worker

  • Applied makeup on Actors & Actresses, as well as Acrobat Performers from Les Productions Haut-Vol

  • Completed makeup looks within a timely manner

  • Maintaining a clean and tidy work station throughout the duration of the shift

  • Ensuring all Performers were out of the makeup room on time and ready for the first show (4:00 PM)
